Who are the courses for?

The level 3 qualifications in First Line Management are developed for junior managers, supervisors and first line managers who have operational responsibility and for those who wish to build on and develop their existing management skills and knowledge. The qualification gives junior managers the communication and motivational skills to manage efficiently.

The Certificate

The CMI Level 3 Diploma in First Line Management (QCF) gives learners a broader knowledge of effective management skills while focusing key management skills required in today's workplace.

To gain the CMI Level 3 Diploma in First Line Management learners must complete a range of core and optional units to the credit value of 37. Typically this is around 6 units. Ask for details.

Assessment

Assessment is normally via practical work-based assignments supported by an experienced tutor. This ensures you minimise time away from work and that you undertake work study which is relevant to your own and organisations context.

On successful completion of a Level 3 Diploma in First Line Management, a number of progression opportunities become available:
