Who is this course for?
Developed for directors and senior managers who have the responsibility to translate organisational strategy into effective performance, the CMI Level 7 qualifications in Strategic Management and Leadership (QCF) requires the manager to focus on the implementation of their organisational strategy.
The Diploma
Our CMI Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership (QCF) is designed for strategic managers aspiring to develop their skills. A Diploma in Strategic Management & Leadership is the benchmark qualification for full CMI membership, taking you another step towards Chartered Manager status.
To gain the CMI Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership learners must complete a range of core and optional units to the credit value of 39. Typically this is around 7 units. Ask for details.
We offer all of the units that make up this qualification and learners can complete them in any sequence.
Assessment
Assessment is normally via practical work-based assignments supported by an experienced tutor. This ensures you minimise time away from work and that you undertake work study which is relevant to your own organisations context.

Progression
On successful completion of a Level 7 CMI qualification in Strategic Management and Leadership, a number of progression opportunities become available:- Enhance your professional status by upgrading your CMI membership

- Progress to other qualifications at the next level (e.g. from Level 7 to Level 8 Certificate)
- Apply to become a Chartered Manager
