Who are these courses for?

This NCFE NVQ Level 2 Diploma in IT User Skills (ITQ) course is aimed at learners who are using IT within their job and plan to have a career in IT.

Flexibility

Highly flexible to suit learner and employer needs.

The learner must achieve a minimum of 38 credits, 4 units must be from mandatory units and a minimum of 34 credits must be from the optional units.

The learner must achieve a minimum of 21 credits at Level 2 or above.

QCF

All of these new qualifications are part of the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF), applicable in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, providing successful learners with transferable unit credit.

National credit value

38 credits via highly supported home and workplace study.

Support

Full support offered following initial induction and development of a personal study plan with an assigned / dedicated tutor. Unlimited telephone, email, SKYPE and SOS support. VAT Excluded.

Assessment

These courses are assessed using evidence from the workplace. This could include observation, professional discussion, questioning / interviews / witness testimonies, reflective accounts or physical products of work (such as plans, reports, correspondence etc.) or other methods allowed within the QCF. Please note that simulation is not allowed.
