Who are the courses for?

This NCFE NVQ Level 3 Certificate in IT User Skills (ITQ) course is for learners using IT within their job or plan to have a career in IT.

Flexibility

Highly flexible to suit learner and employer needs.

Learners must achieve a minimum of 25 credits. 5 credits must be from the mandatory units and a maximum of 20 must be from the optional groups. 10 credits must be at level 3 or above.

QCF

All of these new qualifications are part of the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF), applicable in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, providing successful learners with transferable unit credit.

National credit value

25 credits via high support home and workplace study.

Support

Full support offered following initial induction and development of a personal study plan with an assigned / dedicated tutor. Unlimited telephone, email, SKYPE and SOS support.

Assessment

These courses are assessed using evidence from the workplace. This could include observation, professional discussion, questioning / interviews / witness testimonies, reflective accounts or physical products of work (such as plans, reports, correspondence etc.) or other methods allowed within the QCF. Please note that simulation is not allowed.
