Freelance Apprenticeship End Point Assessment Panel Members - UK Wide

Durham Open Learning College is currently undergoing the Skills Funding Agency (SFA) approval process to become registered to carry out Apprenticeship End Point Assessment activities throughout the UK. 

Part of the process of offering and carrying out Apprenticeship End Point Assessment activities throughout the UK is the need to assess and quality assure the learning process in terms of the apprentice not only meeting academic requirements but demonstrating knowledge acquisition and behavioural change in the workplace at the end of the apprenticeship process.

This assessment is carried out by a range of methods. One of which for example, includes undergoing a panel meeting with an End Point Assessor and in our planned model, an independent expert from industry and or sector relevant to the apprenticeship undertaken.

As a result, we are seeking to employ, on a freelance basis, individuals with appropriate experience and or occupational competence in the last 3 years from a range of industries and or sectors to play an active role in the end point assessment process as a key panel member. Experience in assessing or quality assuring the traditional learning process is not necessary but would be welcomed. Full training and guidance will be offered.

We would like to hear from individuals across the UK with occupational competence and experience in a wide range of subject areas.

Freelance Construction Site Managers - All Disciplines - UK Wide

Durham Open Learning College is currently seeking to recruit suitably qualified freelance Construction Site Managers (all disciplines) to carry out NVQ Level 6 Site Managers assessments and or internal verification.

Applicants must hold a current assessors qualification and or internal verifiers qualification. In addition, a relevant qualification in Site Management at level 6 (or above) along with Site Management experience. Individuals who would be willing to undergo the appropriate assessors and or internal verifiers qualification would also be considered.

Freelance Health and Safety Assessors - UK Wide

Durham Open Learning College is currently seeking to recruit suitably experienced freelance assessors to carry out NVQ Level 5 Health and Safety qualification unit observations at client premises.

Applicants must have suitable health and safety experience / qualifications at level 5 or above. Individuals who would be willing to undergo the appropriate assessors and or internal verifiers qualification would also be considered.
